Right now, I am living in Koreatown. For those who know Philly, it's an area that is pretty much dominated by Korean BBQ, Asian french pastries cafes, Lotte Shops and other family run businesses.
Well, to the point: I love food and I love eating food. And I am so happy that I live here. My current favorite resturant is Cooking Papa
Okay, Cooking Papa. I love the name. I envision a cute dad, cooking away, making awesome creations in a very manly apron and chef's hat. The food is fusion. A mixture of Korean, Japanese, and Spanish, makes my stomach grumble. In a good way.
When I saw omirice on the menu, I nearly cried. I love omirice. I'm a little obsessed with omirice. I am so glad it is a skip away. Omirice is a fried rice omelet filled with goodness. Also, on the menu is shabushka, yaki soba and fresh tuna salad bibimbob. Also, the chef will gladly accommodate vegans by taking out egg and meat.
So my nerd alert rings at level 10. Wasn't Cooking Papa a manga? Why, yes, it is. Cooking Papa is a manga by Tochi Ueyama. I wonder if it has anything to do with the DS game? I never read the manga. I'm not sure if it was ever translated.
So, Cooking Papa is my new jam. I really should Yelp this. haha. Did the nerd alert go up to 20? I think it did.

my new story ...
Natsume Yujinchou: A series about Natsume releasing spirits who are bound to "The Book of Friends". I've started watching this series a couple weeks ago. It's beautifully animated and the story line is fantastic. The end credits are animated so well.
This is based on a manga by Midorikawa Yuki.

where should i go?
I'm torn between three places to travel to right now. and can't make up my mind.
one is LA:
+my close and dear friends live there.
-it's LA
second is Alaska:
+ beautiful scenery
+ adventures, train rides, wolves and icebergs
- i know no one there. solitary travels
third is Montreal
+ gorgeous city
+ fantastic shops
- again, I know no one there. solitary travels (or is that a good thing?)
I am leaning towards Alaska. traveling by train, staying in cute wooden lodges, watching the whales and icebergs. its an adventure!
here are some photo my family took during their recent trip. sooo beautiful!

Zettai Kareshi
I just finished the last episode. Wait, no, I called my sister after watching ( T_T ). Oh man. I never get misty eyed over films, shows or the like. But, the waterworks started and it won't stop! Such a good ending. I read the graphic novel, so I thought I was prepared but alas, I wasn't. The ending was so well done. This is now one of my top dramas. I highly recommend. no spoilers here, just watch it. sigh sigh sigh. the love forever and sweet dreams!!!
(ok ... I am officially high priestess of dorkland)
